Research and development endeavours in ICT are a core part of the research agenda of the European Commission, enabling European Level of innovation in a global competitive market. With emerging technologies like 5G and Industry 4.0, European R&D organizations and companies have new chances to position and prove themselves among international competitors.

With the motivation to deliver ICT based solutions to society, the network DataDataData brings together a vast expertise to tackle future challenges in applications design and development in the fields of Internet of Things, Cyber-physical Systems as well as networked technologies and services. Through in-depth know-how on content information and management, open and big data combined with expert knowledge on privacy, safety and security in ICT, the network DataDataData comprises exclusively internationally successful research and development projects.

The DataDataData initiative operates in various sectors of data management. It is an overall meta-network linking partners from different fields of work in order to optimize research and implementation processes. As such, the network represents the following successful projects: Bonseyes, UrbanData2Decide, FutureTDM, PROTECTIVE, OpenDataMonitor.

The DataDataData network will provide its partners with a broad range of next-generation services and valuable information, in order to effectively tackle current and future challenges.

Interdisciplinary as well as international research collaboration is key to achieving innovation and encompassing progress. Therefore, Datadatadata pursues the target of interconnecting all relevant stakeholders in order to foster research projects and thereby generate increased quality and higher output within the field. Being connected facilitates the establishment of matching research consortia for either totally new project creations or in order to bring additional members on board of already ongoing projects.

Deriving from a select network of partners and members, Datadatadata has been founded in the context of improving their e-service-delivery by rethinking the basics, changing their innovation methodology, transferring their best practices to other partners, and engaging with practitioners and research partners from the very beginning of this process.

Datadatadata provides a wide range of opportunities and channels to holistically approach smart data and the deliverance of next-generation services in this regard.

Roadmap

To ensure long-standing sustainability of DataDataData we have set-up a roadmap to guide our members. This reflects the long-term vision proposed while having in mind the current trends in data management.

Setup the web platform as the main point to co-create content and share updates while continuously delivering and improving its modules.
